Our Mission
Statement
- The course is structured for those who have
had no prior experience in the hotel industry, as well as for
those who wish to expand into the finest establishments. It
covers all aspects of professional bartending and teaches people
everything that bartenders need to know to do the job right.
Our schools are proud to have a very low teacher turnover rate
and our programs only teach current relative information.
-
The goal of our program is to qualify our
graduates to work in the better bartending jobs which is why we
do not teach our course in less time. Our program
is recognized by many well-know institutions such as
Harvard
University & part of
Professional Bartending Schools of America
with 34 locations nationwide and growing! Our main goal is
to provide the highest quality program in Orlando "that is easy
to learn" at an affordable & competitive cost. This may
explain our high graduate placement & referral base.
Dear Sir:
My
name is Roger Oldham and I am President of
Professional Bartending Schools of America, Inc. Our
company is a group of 34 “quality” bartending schools which
twice each holds a Leadership Conferences for our school owners
and key employees. This is a weekend training session that is
held in many different cities. We have traveled to Florida and
held our meetings in Orlando, Tampa, Miami and Key West. Other
meeting has been held in Boston, Philadelphia, New Orleans,
Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Nashville.
During the spring Leadership Conference, I (as the President of the
company) present school owners and employees with awards based on
their performance during the previous calendar year. Mr. Perusse
"Owner of Orlando Bartending School" has indeed won the "School of
the Year" award six years in a row. He has also received the
Presidents Award and numerous awards for his contributions to our
system.
The "School of the Year" award is given to a school
based on these criteria;
-
Standards of operation.
-
Number of students trained during the previous
year.
-
Job placement performance.
-
Attendance at PBSA held training seminars.
-
Lack of student complaints.
This award is not intended to
indicate the school is the "best in the world", etc. It is given to
the "Best School in the PBSA Group" for that year. It is an award to
be proud of. It is not issued lightly.
Mike Perusse "Owner
of Orlando Bartending School"
has also twice received the "Presidents Award". This award is given
out each year to the one school owner who best exemplifies the PBSA
spirit in the running of his/her schools. I personally choose this
award and am proud to say that Mike has deserved this award when he
has received it. Mike works long and hard to see that his schools
are operated at a high level of quality and service to his students.
He takes personal pride in the appearance of his schools and has
remodeled all four campuses in the last two years.
In addition, Mike's Instructor,
Tom Abisso, has received the "Instructor of the Year" award. This is
given once a year to the instructor that I have evaluated by
watching videos of their classes.
Posted here are pictures taken at these Leadership Conferences
showing Mike receiving different awards. I cannot think of any
award that is any more verifiable than this. Many other PBSA school
owners have received these awards over the years, but Mike has
received more "School of the Year" awards than any other single
school owner.
I hope potential students will
find this information helpful. If you ever have any questions or
issues with any of our schools, you may call me direct in Cincinnati
and I will be as helpful as I can to help answer your questions.
Respectfully,
Roger S. Oldham
